WHY DO I WASTE LOTS OF TIME AND FAILS TO ACHEIVE MY GOALS? KNOW YOUR REASONS AND WAYS TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE AT WORK.

Do you often ask yourself these questions “Why do I waste so much time and takes so long to finish the task? Why I make careless mistakes? Why cannot I focus on my goals, get frustrated and easily gives up?

Here is all possible problems and the solution.

It is common both in teens and adults. It is a condition when you are unable to manage time, take decisions, complete tasks that are very necessary. Like delaying your doctor’s appointment, dilly dallying your official work, feeling lazy to clean up your wardrobe. One gets easily distracted by other activities in their surroundings.

  • Racing thoughts
  • Forgetting or losing things
EXCESS ADDICTION TO SMARTPHONES:

Today everyone is engaged or you can say wasting time on their smartphones due to easy and affordable access to internet. Everyone is busy updating their check in status or posting their best pictures on internet. For every perfect picture, one spends a lot of time clicking hundreds of others and then spends time trying different filters on it.
Instead of doing their  priority tasks they finds mindless scrolling through internet easy. People waste lot of time in writing negative comments or reviews on some YouTube video or post that eventually is of no use. Instead complimenting or writing motivational comments can bring smile on someone face and that is even worth.

STRESS/ANXIETY:

Do you always get worried or stressed about some something or someone even when there is nothing to worry much? This state is called anxiety. One always feels negative or insecure  about family health, finances etc. This tension keeps you from doing work or completing your task.

Other symptoms of stress/ anxiety are:

  • Over thinking
  • Stressed muscles
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Irritability
TIREDNESS/ LACK OF WILLPOWER:

Are you getting enough sleep? Do you always feel tired and does not feel like doing anything. For one to be active and working towards his goal one need to be physically and mentally fit. If you do not get enough sleep for at least 6-8 hours, your body will not cooperate to work.

Strong Will power changes every impossible thing to possible. One must be determined in his thoughts and actions.

WAYS TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE AT WORK

EXERCISE:

To keep your body and mood  in check, keep moving your body. Regular 30 minutes of exercise can keep you fit and active to work. This will help you getting your work done easily and fast.

HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP:

Try having a good sleep at night. Avoid caffeine or alcohol. Try going to bed at same time everyday. This will also help you be more productive at work as you will not feel lazy.

PRACTICE MEDITATION AND YOGA:

This is the key to stress free mind and body. Breathing in and out help your body release stress. Meditation helps you connect to soul and give a chance to introspect yourself.

If something or someone bothers you, find a genuine friend or a family member to talk to. This will lower your stress and will help you find a possible solution. Remember nothing can be done  about things that have happened in past and you cannot have control over things that are going to happen in future, so try to live happily  in present. This will prevent over thinking.

DO NOT BE BFF WITH YOUR SMARTPHONE:

Excess addiction to your phone keep you from doing any work and wastes a lot of your time. Internet is a source of information and knowledge, use it wisely.

GET BOREDOM OUT OF YOUR LIFE:

Paint the canvas of your life with colors of happiness and love. One must spice up his/her life by meeting new people, making new friends, appreciating nature and exploring world. This will inspire you to work with happy mind and be more productive at work.

  1. Good information. I have ADD and often have trouble at work. This disorder in adults needs to be brought to light so the others out there that suffer can know they are not alone. It took me many years to begin ignoring people telling me “I did not have a problem” and needed to just “focus harder”. Thing is not matter what I did I couldn’t and I did have a problem. So I finally didn’t listen to these comments and took take my own steps to get help.
    Now it’s as if I’ve seen the world for the first time and I don’t feel out of place.
